About St. Paul Syriac Orthodox Church
St. Paul the Apostle Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch was founded in 1997 by a group of faithful families. After relocating to Santee, St. Paul was consecrated in 2017 by HH Moran Mor Ignatius Aphrem II, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East. St. Paul is under the jurisdiction of the Archdiocese of the Western United States shepherded by HE Archbishop Mor Clemis Eugene Kaplan.
St. Paul is multicultural and multigenerational community of God-fearing and neighbor-loving faithful. As a close-knit parish family, the community warmly welcomes all newcomers and visitors. Through Liturgical worship, faith-focused lectures and varied programs that target a very wide range of groups, whole-hearted participation in the Church will certainly effectuate real change in the minds and hearts of the penitent. St. Paul in Santee is sure to invigorate the spiritual fire within each and every one of us by the grace of our merciful and loving Lord, Jesus Christ.
